About UPSEE
2014: The Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Entrance 2014
(UPSEE) conducted by Gautam Buddha Technical is the state level
entrance exam for admissions to the various degree courses in
engineering in the colleges under the University.
UPSEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria:
B.Tech
aspirants
Candidates
should havepassed Intermediate from
UP Board or 10+2 examination from a recognized Board or
University.
Candidates must have
passed the qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 45%
(40% for SC/ST) in the concerned subjects.
Candidates must have
passed the qualifying exam without any grace marks.
B.Arch Aspirants:
Candidates must have
passed Intermediate from UP Board or 10+2 examination from a
recognized Board or University
They
must have obtained an aggregate of 50% without any grace marks in
the qualifying exam.
Diploma
holders in Architecture with an aggregate of 50% are also
eligible to appear the UPSEE 2014
UPSEE 2014 Selection Procedure: on the basis
of theUPSEE 2014 scores and rank
obtained in the UPTU 2014.
Note:
Private Universities will be allocated 20% of the seats to be
filled by JEE Main aspirants with 10% being for UP domiciled
students and the remaining 10% for outside states with All India
Merit.
UPSEE 2014 Paper Pattern:
The
UPSEE 2014 Question Paper will contain 150 questions for 600
marks.
Questions will be in the
subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with weight age
given to all the papers.
Each
correct answer will carry four marks with no negative
marking.
Candidates will have to
give only one answer for each question

Online: Candidates
should apply
atwww.upsee.nic.in or www.mtu.ac.in,
send the final confirmation form to the university before the
specified deadlines.
Offline: Candidates
must apply through the OMR application forms available at all Head
post offices in UP, Dehradun and New Delhi and send the filled in
forms by registered or speed post before the last
date.
